Assemblea di Corsica: Quistione a bocca – 11/03/2016
(FR) Mr President, together with the President of the Assembly of Corsica, you met the Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, on 18 January in Paris. The two of you had a wide-ranging exchange of views on the current situation in our country. You also, I have no doubt, outlined the main lines of work of the mandate, as well as the difficulties encountered. In this, you have expressed both the concerns and the wishes of the opinion expressed in the vote of 13 December last. I am sure that you also insisted on the method. At the end of that meeting, the Prime Minister, Mr Valls, announced the creation of three working groups: – the first, on institutions and inter-communality. – the second, on the fight against land speculation. – the third, on the promotion of the Corsican language. My question is therefore as follows: what is the situation regarding the setting up of these groups, particularly in view of the meeting on 16 February with the new Minister for Decentralization, Mr Baylet? What timetable has been set, and what results can we expect?
